Children's Talk: We started telling how the early Christians spread the Good News about Jesus around the Roman Empire. Jesus Christ went back to heaven but the Holy Spirit made the disciples fearless witnesses for Jesus.
Morning Service: The focus of the sermon was Psalm 103 verse 19. God has established his rule over all things. Nothing can hinder God fulfilling all that he has planned. This links with the Christian confession that Jesus Christ is King of kings and Lord of Lords.

Evening Service: In John chapter 17 Jesus is praying for his disciples. They have heard him bringing God's word into our world. They have kept it and this brings them assurance that all that Christ said is truth. Jesus prays that they will be one as the Father and Son are one.
