Children's talk: poweful episode today. Joseph meets his father, who thought he was dead. Joseph's brothers meant him harm when they sold him as a slave. But God meant it for good. Joseph says that he becoming Prime Minister was God's way of saving 1000's from famine.
Morning Service: We thought about God's unfailing compassion as it is described in Psalm 103:13-18. To be certain of this as we live in an unstable world is invaluable.God's compassion peaks in Christ hanging on the cross for our sin.

Today's discussion revolved around Jesus Christ claiming to be God's Messiah, being the friend of sinners and that we can know God through him.

Evening Service: John chapter 17 is the prayer Jesus prays just before being arrested. He prays that God will be glorified now that the hour for the crucifixion has come. He also tells us that eternal life is to know God and Jesus Christ, who he has sent.
