Morning Service: Acts chapter 9 v 16-31 tells us what happened to Saul, the great persecutor, following his conversion. He boldly proclaims that Jesus is the Son of God. This makes him a marked man and he has to escape in a basket over the wall of Damascus. He lived the rest of his life telling others the Good News and often having to run for his life.

Evening Service [Exodus Chapter 16]: The Israelites have been rescued from certain death as slaves by the Lord. They soon forget his power, goodness and promises. They are hungry in the wilderness so they grumble against the Lord. He provides bread from heaven [manna] and quail as food. Jesus Christ uses this to explain his role as Messiah. He is the only one who can deal with our deep down spiritual hunger and restlessness.
