Children's Talk: We told the story of the son who treated his father shabbily. He took the inheritance and went away from his father. After hitting rock bottom he decides to go back to his father, that he had wronged. The father, however, welcomes the lost son. Jesus tells this story to tells us that no matter who we are or what we've done God always welcomes repenting sinners.
Morning Service: Acts 27. God sends Paul to Rome, through a life-threatening storm. God does not desert Paul in the storm but speaks to Paul in the storm. He re-assures Paul of his plan and care. God never abandons his people but speaks to us in the storm.
Evening Service: (Galatians 5:7-15), For those who trust Jesus Christ there is the certainty that God's declaring us to be righteous can never be reversed. Now that we have had our sins forgiven we must live change and ever changing lives that are dominated by love. This is is self-sacrficing, self-giving and constant.
