We also told the story of Thomas the disciple. He doubted that Jesus was alive when the other disciples told him that the Lord had appeared to them. He said, "Unless I see I won't believe". Jesus met him and said "Blessed are those who don't see yet believe"
Morning Service 1 Samuel 17 (part 2). David (the king to-be) confronts formidable Goliath in the name of the living God. David's boldness is a result of him realising that the LORD's faithfulness is faultless and unfailing. He defeats Goliath in the name of the LORD. David is eager to see the LORD glorified.
Evening Service: (Matthew 5:38-42). The Lord Jesus tells his people that far from taking personal revenge they must be willing to suffer loss and insult for being Christians. They must be willing to give and help those who need help regardless of who they are.
