Children's Talk: Jesus told the story of the shepherd who went looking for the lost sheep even though there were 99 sheep safe in the pen. Jesus described his work in our word as: The Son of Man came to seek and save the lost.
Morning Service: (Isaiah 53:1-3). Isaiah declares that when the Messiah comes into our world he would be so unassuming and humiliated that people would refuse to accept him as the Messiah. He would be despised and rejected yet his sufferings are for the sins of people like us.
Evening Service: Galatians 6:7-10 - You reap what you sow! Christians have gained a right standing before God through faith in Jesus Christ. As a result of this they make the life-style choice of "sowing to the Spirit" i.e. living lives full of things that are pleasing to God. This life-style choice leads to eternal life.
