Children's Talk: The story of the floating axe-head. Elisha the prophet is enabled to make an axe-head lots in the river to float so that the person who borrowed the axe could return it to its owner.
Morning Service: (1 Samuel 29): David finds himself in a very difficult situation. However the LORD's remarkable power in being able to use anything to fulfill his purposes gets David out of a dilemma. The LORD never compromises his standards of holiness but will use anything/anyone is his care for his people.
Evening Service: (Matthew 7:13-14) Jesus told us that there two eternal destinations that we are all heading towards i.e. Destruction or Life. The way to life is hard and narrow. Living in this way exposes Christians to reproach, scorn and denying self. Yet the Lord Jesus assures us that the narrow and hard way leads to life
