Children's Talk: Pharoah, king of Egypt, in his pride refused to let God's people go. he was shown the power of the LORD through the plagues God sent on Egypt but his heart remained hard, stubborn and proud. He agreed to let the people go but went back on his word. How dreadful to remain proud before God and break our promises.
Morning Service: 1 Samuel 6: God's people will always face hard times (tribulations). Yet because of their very real relationship with the LORD they can strengthen themselves in him and pray, reminding themselves of the LORD's power and promises. He is the sovereign LORD and no circumstance is greater than him
Evening Service: Matthew 7:21-23. These challenging words spoken by the Lord Jesus warn us of being confident in a false religion. He tells us that true religion is to be known by him and that we know him. To know God and the one whom he has sent is real and genuine Christianity. We must never be confident in our own achievements but trust Jesus Christ alone.
