Children's Talk: We continued our theme of giving thanks to God. Today we though about clean, water and rain. Finally we sang thanking God for his great love
Morning Service: 1 Samuel, overview: In 1000 BC the Israelite nation are in a mess so God raises up Samuel to faithfully declare his word. The nation drifts from God and want a king like the other nations. This king: Saul, is a disaster so Samuel anoints David the shepherd boy to be king.
Evening Service: Ephesians 1:16-21, Paul prays that Christians will grow in appreciating and understanding the greatness of God's work of saving sinners. He prays that we will know the hope better, appreciate our spiritual riches and God's power at work in us. He has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, in Christ.
