Morning Service: (1 Samuel 4), how easy it is to turn religion into a "lucky" charm. The Israelites thought of and trusted more the symbols of their religion than the LORD. This led to terrible consequences for the nation but as the decades went by the LORD was merciful and gracious.
Evening Service: Matthew 5:4, Jesus said, "Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted". OH! how happy and contented are the people who mourn over their sin and find the ultimate consolation in the Gospel.
