In the Children's Talk we took the story of Joseph to the point where he is sold as a slave, lied about and he is thrown into an Egyptian prison. During this part of the Bible, the point is made twice that, "The LORD was with Joseph". How amazing that Joseph years later was able to say, "God meant it for good". In the sermon, this morning, we concentrated on Haggai 2:10-19. God is making the point that when we are half-hearted in our worship for him then we are always the losers. God, however, blesses undeserving people - amazing grace.

Sunday Evening we thought about some of the last conversation that Jesus had
with his disciples, before being arrested. He makes the point that true religion
is to love God and Jesus Christ. The sign that this love is genuine is that we
keep Jesus' commandments. Very challenging.
