Children's Talk: Easter treats have some past explanations reminding us of Easter.
Morning Service: 1 Peter 1:3-5, "The resurrection and the Christian's inheritance". Christians' inheritance is the salvation that will be revealed in us. Jesus' resurrection guarantees that God's promises will always be kept. This inheritance is reserved for us in heaven and is the reason why Christians can praise God, even in the darkest moments.
Evening Service: Where's the Body Gone? We sang and listened in celebration of Jesus' victories. It was lovely to see and hear younger members of the congregation taking part. We recapped the events of the Easter weekend with them. Our talk considered the question, "Where Jesus' Body Gone?" - he was raised from the dead so there is no body in any tomb!
