Children's Talk: Paul, the Apostle, ends up in chains in Rome. His only crime was being a Christian. He was given some freedom and manages to keep on telling others the Good News about Jesus
Morning service: We concentrated on Acts 18 and read about Paul, the Apostle, strengthening Christians bu teaching Word of the Lord. We also thought about Apollos, who knew so much about the Bible and Jesus but needed help to the Christian message understand fully. He had a half-way house religion but was willing to learn and put it right.
Evening Service: [Galatians chapter 1]. Paul argues that he preaches the genuine Christian message. He shows that he's not been influenced by any other human being and the great transformation in his life: from persecutor to Christian leader shows us the power of the genuine Christian message

Children's Talk: it's good to listen to
Morning Service: In Acts Act we read that Paul preached the Good News about Jesus but many reviled him and his message.
After trying to persuade those who reviled him Paul said, "Your blood be on your own heads"
Evening Service: In Galatians 1:1-9 we read that Jesus Christ is Lord. He has been raised from the dead. God the Father and the Lord Jesus give grace and peace. Only the Good News about Jesus can give us these great blessings

Our study groups met today:
Afternoon group: Looked at the great Bible teaching of Justification by faith. God reckons us to be righteous through faith in Jesus Christ. There is now, therefore, no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.
Evening Group: Jesus Christ: prophet, priest and king. He is prophet declaring God's word to us, priest representing us before God and king to be lovingly obeyed.
Two guest preachers today - great to be there!
Children's Talk: There are many different combinations when it comes to putting these blocks together. There is only one way to God - Jesus Christ
Morning Service: [Preacher - Jeremy Evans]. Communion is a visual summary of the Good News about Jesus. It's an occasion to remebmer, reflect, enquire and expect. It focuses our minds on the work Jesus Christ accomplished for us on the cross.
Evening Service [Preacher: Dr. David Powell], Psalm 104:1-12. God is creator, maintainer and saviour, in and through Jesus Christ. His greatness cannot be measured yet our privilege is that we can know him
