Morning - Jesus told the story of two building houses. One built on rock, a solid foundation. The other built on sand, a poor foundation. The storm came and the house on the rock stood form. The house on the sand fell flat. Building our lives on Jesus Christ is to build on a solid foundation
Evening - Jesus told this story to explain the happiness in heaven when people turn to God. A lady lost a valuable coin. She searched high and low for it and was exceptionally happy when she found it
Morning Service: Faith in Jesus Christ leads to great spiritual freedom and frees us from religion that is pointless, dismal and a burden. This great blessing is not an excuse to live as we like but our freedom must lead to us being mindful of others, serving others and living with God's standards at the centre of our lives.
Evening service: (Numbers 13) After 400 years of slavery and rescue from Egypt the Israelites are on the verge of entering the Promised Land. God again promises that he is giving them the land. Instead of focussing on God's promise they focus on the obstacles that might prevent them living in the Land. They decide not to enter the land. In doing so they miss out on God's blessing - they do not enter God's rest.

Morning Service: In Acts chapter 15 the debate rages: can we be real Christians when we attached religious ritual to faith in Jesus Christ? The early Christians agree that real Christianity is to have faith alone on Jesus Christ alone. Real faith leads to a changed life but it is faith in Christ that cleanses our hearts.
Evening Service: The Israelites fall to the temptation of worshipping a Golden Calf. They replace the LORD with an idol. This could have broken the wonderful relationship they with Him. Moses prays and the LORD shows mercy

Children's Talk: When Solomon becomes king of Israel God invited him to ask for a blessing. Solomon asks for wisdom to be good king. God gave him wisdom and Solomon used this wisdom to solve many issues that were brought to him
Our guest preacher today was Dafydd Morris
Morning Service: In the Bible's last book Jesus Christ is described as "the Lamb who has been slain". He comes to our world to show us God and to give himself for our forgiveness.
Evening Service: Jacob is a godless man but has a dream of a ladder reaching from earth to heaven. The dream shows him
1. Jesus Christ is the true God
2. Jesus Christ is the link between heaven and earth
3. Jesus Christ will be with those who trust him.

Morning Children Talk: When we think think about the two great commands: Love God and Love Your Neighbour, how easily we get it wrong. How necessary, then. that we think about and believe Jesus telling us that the greatest thing that God wants us to do is to believe in the One he has sent.
Morning Service: Acts chapter 14 sees Paul ending the First Missionary Journey. For 2 years he has told others the Good News about Jesus. He has had to run for his life and left for dead. He encourages the new Christians to continue in the faith, to be aware that life in this world for them will be full of tribulations but to be certain that faith in Jesus Christ leads to God's kingdom.
Evening Service: [Leviticus 16], This was a great day in the Israelite religious year. One goat was sacrificed for the nations' sins, another goat was led away into the wilderness: a picture of the nation's sins being taken away.
All this is a great illustration of all that Jesus achieved when dying on the cross: his sacrifice means sins forgiven and taken away..
