Morning Service: (Ephesians 6). David Lewis, our guest preacher, reminded us that Christians are in a spiritual warfare. They can only stand up to evil and temptation using spiritual truth.
Evening Service: (Matthew 5: 17-20). Jesus Christ has fulfilled God's Law and the prophets. This opens up the way for us to counted righteous before God and by being given a superior righteousness.
Children's Talk: There are many sweet and appealing things to try in our world. David, the shepherd boy from Bethlehem who became king, wrote that God's Law (his Word) is sweeter than honey
Morning Service: (1 Samuel 14), Jonathan's the king's son has faith that dares. he takes the fight to the enemy. The LORD intervenes, the ground quakes and the LORD saves Israel from an enemy that intended to obliterate the Israelites.
Evening Service: (Matthew 5:13-16), Jesus Christ tells his disciples to be salt of the earth and the light of the world. They can only do this as they live for God's glory and tell others the Good News about Jesus that rescues people from spiritual darkness.
A good time was had by all. The homemade scones went down a treat and there was plenty of tea, coffee and chat.
Thought For The Day: a potter has complete control over the clay. The clay has no authority over the potter. A Bible illustration uses this theme. God is the potter and we are the clay. We have no authority over him yet for those who are willing to trust him there is peace and joy as he changes us.

Morning Service: 1 Samuel 13, King Saul sees the formidable Philistine army. He panics and loses patience. He doesn't wait for the Lord's word show wholehearted obedience to the LORD. He crosses the line and does his own thing. He is judged for this.
Evening Service: (Matthew 5:11-12). The Lord Jesus tells his people that when persecution comes to remember the great reward in heaven that God will give to his people as they sacrifice to live a life following Jesus.
This was our first Tea, Coffee and Chat for some months but now we hope that we can build momentum. It was great to see some of the regulars and also some "new" faces. Our "Two Minute Thought For The Day" was Jesus Christ declaring that the thing God wants us to do is to believe in the one whom he has sent.
Our speaker today was Ian Hughes (Seion, Llanelli) he reminded us of the importance of faith. This is at the heart of trusting in Jesus Christ and living for him.
Children's Talk: There are many things to enjoy in our world. David the shepherd boy who became king said about God's word: I delight in your law (Ps 119:174)
Morning Service: (1 Samuel 12), Samuel preaches to the nation as the new king takes over. The people have sinned in asking for this king yet the LORD remains merciful and faithful. Samuel calls on the nation to wholeheartedly follow the LORD and not be distracted from this.
Evening Service: (Matthew 5:10) Jesus Christ declares that Christians who endure persecution will be blessed. This blessedness is connected to Christains belonging to God's kingdom, which will outlast anything that this world offers.
