Morning Service: We concentrated on the message of 1 Thessalonians Chapter 1. Christians have tremendous assurance of God's love and this makes such a difference to our lives. We were also challenged that authentic faith in Jesus Christ leads us to imitating him. Evening Service: In 1 Thessalonians Chapter 2 we saw that the Bible is God's Word and calls for seriousness as it is read and proclaimed. Jesus Christ suffered because of the things that he taught but this suffering was God's way of bringing all those who believe back too him. Evening Service: We concentrated on the Lord delivering the Israelites from death and slavery in Egyptm many years before Christ came into our world. Figuring in this rescue was the blood of a lamb that had been slain. This is a great picture of what happens on the first Good Friday as Jesus Christ gives himself as the perfect sacrifice. Morning Service: Acts chapter 7 tells us about Stephen, the first person to die for his faith in "Acts". He is brought before the religious leaders. He challenges them; they are making more of the Temple and outward religion and missing the point that true religion is Jesus Christ. When he tells them about Jesus they are incensed and they stone him to death.

Evening Service: In John chapter 210 we saw the glory of Jesus Christ when he forgave and publically re-instated Peter, who had denied him three times. Jesus Christ is full of grace and truth and by believing in him we may have LIFE.
